Season IX Draconian Devils steps up to defend their AnBBL trophy!
The teams participating in this season seems less prepared for the elite's than in the previous season, but as everyone now knows; the weaker teams can go on and surprise.
The Devils have trophies to use, expectations to live up to and fragile players to keep alive.
Will it hold up against hard-hiting Mummies from Slaves of Succubus and prehensive tails on Lustria WildCats?
Only time will show!

Season VIII team stats After their first season in the Alpha league the team accomplished this:
Longest unbeaten run for the team, with 5 games (and counting)
Top throwing team in the league, counting 49 comps.
This allso gave them 2 players in "top 5 throwers";  Mathrengyl Bearwalker in second with 20 comps, and Forest Gimp in third with 15 comps.
Finaly beating their elven rivals Men in Tights
Finaly beating their nemesis Horrid SkinEaters, wich resulted in
Winning the SC & AnBBL Champions final Draconian Devils - Horrid SkinEaters (Season VIII, SC & AnBBL Champions' Final) |

VICTORY!!!! Draconian Devils take home the victory in the AnBBL final over Horrid SkinEaters.
After reaching the playoffs in a "wildcard" kinda way, the lads really showed that they belonged there, beating first Kadrin Kazad Nutcrackers in the semi finals, and then to go on and win vs Horrid SkinEaters.
-In both games we was big underdogs with only hope and Nuffle to thrust in, but with Nuffle taking shape as a Dark Elf, and some clinical blocking and dodging we managed to surprise our opponents just enough to go from "game-won-before-its-even-played" to being so shaky they didnt manage to respond!
All in all its been a really fun season and the players will now get a well earned break, starting tonight with a huge party.

Dangerous times! Playing Blood Bowl are dangerous; playing in the alpha league is even more dangerous; playing Blood Bowl for Draconian Devils as a new player in the alpha league is aboute as dangerous as it gets!
After 2 deaths in the last 4 games (Harry Bait and Ugo Eqhioc Draconian Devils are now looking for a Lineman that are though as hell!
Can you take some beating, staying on your feet and most of all; dont die on the second block of your first game: then Draconian Devils are looking for YOU!
We can offer a decent salary, 2 fine witchelfs (with Mighty blow!) and free dental care.

First Alpha Victory In their 4'th game in the Alpha league Draconian Devils finaly got their first victory.
This allso goes down as their first ever win vs their elven rivals Men in Tights
"After 2 loss in exciting and close matches, and a unlucky draw; this Victory tastes really good" Nozdormu states. |

Bad match record Designer's Note: Some of the above 21 teams are more challenging than the others to play either because of their skills
requiring advanced strategies to be effective or because they have difficulty winning. These teams have been designed
this way on purpose to give challenges to coaches who master the basics of Blood Bowl. These more challenging teams
are: Chaos, DARK ELF, Goblin, Halfling, Nurgle, Ogre and Vampire. Coaches should be aware that these are considered
teams for more advanced players and can be confusing or difficult to use if you are new to the game.
Knew it was something funny aboute that recomendation.. :P |
