Very sunny to start, This looked up for the elves, but Helmut Wolff who was showing up for the rats today didn't care about the weather. He sawed through one elf a turn, resulting in 5 elves gone by turn three. On which the rats reluctantly scored. An elf came back from the knockout box, but Wolf also impressed the ref enough to stay on for another drive, making for some very jittery elves on the pitch. The Rangers were about to equalize, after a fumbled greed surf by the Labrats' main runner, Scrat. Sadly the wardancer managed all rolls, but the last 2+ dodge. Which resulted in a broken arm, on top of the hurt pride.
Without their team leader, the five remaining elves were not much challenge for the rats to run around, during the second half. |
