The crowd were streaming to tonight's match between The Crimson Tide and Makhai. A whooping 20k attendants had nowhere to stay within social distancing in the overcrowded stands.
The crowd were shouting for blood, and blood they got, mostly in the form of the Vampire's thralls, who laid beaten and bloody on top of each other in the injury box. There were so many knocked out that the vampire team was at risk of having to concede the match at some point.
The first goal was scored by Renfield Jr. who was handed the ball by Lioncourt who skillfully maneuvered himself through the Elven defense. It would end up with the sole goal for the Vampires as their numbers on the pitch quickly dwindled, leaving them unable to stop the elves from going on a scoring spree. The score by half time were 1-1, but by the end of the game the scoreline was 1-3 in the favor of Makhai.
Lioncourt was playing with fire near the end of the match, looking at a potential serious injury after being surfed off the pitch into the big crowd. Having failed his regeneration, his apothecary ran to his rescue - making sure the important vampire were fit to return to the game without issues once he is fit to play again. |
