First drive was quite long winded, considering the skaven chose to receive. The Dawgs had kept their secret weapon in reserve, and the rats knew this. Waiting until one poor fellow hit the casualty box, before reacting and prominently scoring to force Wolff onto the field. Once there, he went straight into a carefully set trap, sending him off with a well aimed block. Giving him just one go with the barbaric weapon. This allowed the rats another quick touchdown.
There was obviously some animosity between the skaven runners in the start of second half. Where two gutters were acting like loners. Or maybe they just sniffed too much warpstone in the locker room?
Anyway, during this confusion, the rest of the team circled the khorne defense. The Dawgs ball carrier kept calm, and showed that he had not forgotten his training, and made a beautiful pass down the field, to a waiting Blood Seeker. Putting the rats straight back into defense. A neat two-gfi blitz later, the Dawgs had passed the touchdown line.
Still, the rats were just too numerous, too fast, and too hardy for the khorne team to have a chance at victory. Although, in the end they did get some blood and bone. Breaking the arm of today's opposing mvp. |
