This was one slow game. Necromantic team scored in round 3, and with one werewolf down, decided to block the nurgle approach instead of facing them head on in a boxing match.
This went well, assisted by Gretchen, the nurgle player could not hold on to the ball.
Second half was not much better. A lot of back and forth. The wraith just could not get the dice required to fell the nurgle carrier, even though they had plenty of chances. This mostly because the nurglites couldn't throw a block if their life depended on it. And as he could not carry the team all by himself, number six finally bit the grass. The nurgle team had one chance left. One small chance, for number 7 to dodge out, grab the ball and throw a long bomb to Yaggatha, who was standing free near the touchdown zone. And it worked!
Ending the game in a draw, but making a high point on an otherwise slow match. |
