This wasn't looking to be anything but a regular Blood Bowl match. But my, what an opening the little grey goblins had! Their fans immediately jumped on the ref, from the first kickoff. Allowing both teams to dig into that foul play. Of course being elves, this did not benefit the Rangers as much as their opponent. The Blades started turn one with three(!) removals. Sadly the ref was back on the pitch by turn two, where he spotted a rather ugly foul. Sending number 15 off the pitch Not even a substantial amount of gold would sway the angry fellow. It was already too late for the poor elf he was stomping in the face, though. The elves tried to keep on offence, but failed every leap. Causing turnovers. And the goblins kept getting removals. Allowing an almost unopposed touchdown. The elven fans got more and more riled up, but the full scale riot came one turn too late for the Rangers, which did not have enough players left to really push for the win. The desperate wardancers were lured into the crowd by sidestepping shenanigans on the sidelines. And then the 2-1 victory to the grey menace was almost inevitable.
