Preparations
Got the final preparations for the Dungeonbowl done yesterday with the match against the Legacy team. Not only did we win but we earned enough goldcoins so that we could buy in a minotaur which will come in handy no doubt :-)

Until Dungeonbowl!

Unknown facts of the Dhawi-Zharr Part I
Excerpt from the book, "I Survived and Escaped the Dark Lands!"

A little known fact of the culture of Chaos Dwarfs is the gladitorial like battles they hold in their Hell Pits.
There are two reasons for this, one that by sending slaves into them gives them both hope since the price is freedom but also inevitably despair the odds are insurmountable. Most importantly it entertains the population of Zharr-Naggrund and their allies while still paying homage to Hashut with sacrifices. Never underestimate the power of entertainment as it is a vital political tool for the Elders in which they can subdue the most warmongering of their race. After all the Chaos Dwarf population is not numerous so to dedicate themselves to a war, the cause must be of vital importance

The gladitorial arenas are mazes, filled with deathtraps. So when you pit a highly trained and motivated team consisting of Bull Centaurs, Chaos Dwarfs, Hobgoblins and creatures even worse against a rag-tag mix of potential rebelmakers among the slaves you know there will be a blood bath!
Using rules akin most to the game known as Blood Bowl in the Old World, the gladitorial games of the Chaos Dwarfs contend themselves with only one touchdown needed to win the game. Of course if you have been paying attention so far that is not an easy task to accomplish at the best of times (for the slaves that is!).
